Topkey
Managing vacation rental finances has long meant juggling various credit cards, accounts, and receipts. Property managers spent days each month chasing down charges, tagging expenses by hand, and stitching together reports across disconnected systems. It’s frustrating (and expensive) so Topkey created a singular platform to finally close the book on closing the books.
My role on this project:

I created a conversational-yet-authoritative brand voice that helped Topkey speak to investors and partners with credibility and clarity.

I developed a messaging framework that clearly explained Topkey’s suite of financial services products, including solutions for banking, corporate cards, expense management, bookkeeping and bill pay.

Working with a design team, I wireframed and wrote all copy for Topkey’s revamped website.
Topkey needed an identity that could clearly speak to tech-savvy, time-crunched vacation property managers. The brand had to feel smart and streamlined, while building the kind of credibility that’s essential when you’re asking people to rethink how they manage their money.
To clarify Topkey's value and difference, I built a brand voice from the ground up — one that speaks directly to the pain points of vacation rental property management, with empathy and authority.
I crafted foundational messaging, headlines, and copy riffs that balance optimism with practicality — highlighting time savings, ease of use, and transparency, without overpromising.
